Through this virtual writing lesson, I used technology to showcase writing samples that steered my direct instruction to the student. Later in the lesson, I used a formative assessment to understand if my students were grasping the lesson.
Progress Monitoring
Use assessment data to guide progress and communicate with students, parents and education stakeholders to build student self-direction
I used the assessment data found in the progress monitoring report to reflect on the goals I set with my student and brainstorm future strategies to improve her fluency. I will then use these goals and strategies to communicate with the student and her family about potential improvement.
