This reading reflection demonstrates cultural competency and how I will understand the importance of communication within students, parents, and colleagues. Throughout the reading reflection, I reference the family professional partnership, along with the Sunshine Model, which allow me to successfully interact with every student and their family while remaining culturally aware to differences.

During this lesson, I dedicated time to plan with colleagues by collaborating on this lesson. After our conversation, I took the ideas and implemented them to incorporate the goals of my student (place value mastery). I taught this lesson virtually with implemented technology.
